Mr. McKeown has 30 years of experience in the reinsurance industry, including 10 years managing a traditional reinsurance portfolio and five years actively managing capital investing in alternative reinsurance risk structures. Mr. McKeown spent 15 years in the insurance brokerage business, in both business production and senior management roles.

Mr. McKeown was the founding Chief Executive Officer of New Ocean. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of New Ocean, the Chief Executive Officer of New Ocean Capital Management LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of New Ocean Capital Management Limited, which provides consulting services to New Ocean and he also serves as a director of the Focus Cat Fund, Market Value Cat Fund, and Diversified Cat Fund.

Mr. McKeown began his career in 1984 at Guy Carpenter & Company (subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies - "MMC") as a reinsurance broker, where he worked for fourteen years. In 1998, he joined ACE Tempest Reinsurance Company Limited in Bermuda as their Chief U.S. Underwriting Officer. He later became CEO of that company in 2003, managing the Bermuda Company's $2 billion statutory balance sheet and a team of over 60 people in Bermuda.

In 2004, Mr. McKeown was recruited by Citadel Investment Group to establish and run CIG Reinsurance Company and New Castle Reinsurance Company, companies owned by Citadel Investment Group managed funds. Between the two companies, Mr. McKeown and his team built and actively managed a portfolio of reinsurance business, eventually building the businesses to over $1.5 billion of investor assets in 2008.

In 2009, Mr. McKeown rejoined Guy Carpenter & Company as CEO of Global Analytics, and then taking on the role of CEO of North American Broking, and Vice Chairman. In 2012, MMC purchased a stake in Pillar Capital Management ("Pillar"), a Bermuda-based reinsurance asset manager and Mr. McKeown left Guy Carpenter to serve as CEO of Pillar until 2013.

Mr. McKeown holds a B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) Degree from Syracuse University.

Mr. Vezina has over 20 years of experience in the reinsurance industry. He joined New Ocean in May 2015 as Chief Underwriting Officer.

Mr. Vezina started his career at Inter-Ocean Re, a Bermuda based finite risk reinsurer, before moving to Overseas Partners Re holding various actuarial positions.

From 2000 to 2005, he held the position of Vice President Underwriting at Chubb Re.

In 2005 Mr. Vezina moved to Harbor Point Re (subsequently Alterra then Markel) as Managing Director – Head of Retrocessional Property Catastrophe Reinsurance. Mr. Vezina also served as the lead underwriter for the New Point series of sidecar vehicles that were established to create additional capacity for the property catastrophe collateralized reinsurance marketplace.

Prior to joining New Ocean Mr. Vezina was the Chief Underwriting Officer of AQR Re managing a team of underwriting professionals. AQR Re was the reinsurance arm of AQR Capital Management, an investment manager with over $100 billion of assets under management.

Mr. Vezina holds a B.Sc. in actuarial sciences from Laval University in Quebec and holds the following professional designations: FCAS, MAAA, CPCU, ARe, and CCRA.

Mr. Toogood has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined New Ocean in May 2015.

Mr. Toogood began his career as an analyst at Howard Capital Management in New York, before joining ACE Capital Re in Bermuda, where he specialized in structured products and financial guaranty reinsurance.

In 2004 Mr. Toogood moved to Credit Suisse Group where he was a Director in the proprietary trading group, establishing a catastrophe risk business and managing a portfolio of ILWs and other reinsurance risk.

In 2009 Mr. Toogood co-founded Cartesian Iris, an Insurance Linked Securities fund, where he held the position of CEO. The fund was established in conjunction with Cartesian Capital Group and Aspen Insurance Holdings, Ltd.

Prior to joining New Ocean, Mr. Toogood was a Senior Reinsurance Buyer within the outwards risk transfer team at Catlin, focused on third-party capital structuring.

Mr. Toogood is a CFA charterholder and holds a BA in History from Trinity College.

Mr. Pun has over 17 years of actuarial experience, including 12 years in the Bermuda reinsurance business. He joined New Ocean in July 2015 as Chief Risk Officer.

Mr. Pun started his career at the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia. He held various actuarial positions working on ratemaking, loss reserving and financial modeling. In 2003 he joined KPMG Bermuda as a Senior Manager where he co-lead the actuarial advisory practice.

In May 2006 Mr. Pun joined Endurance Specialty Insurance Limited. He was a Vice President and Senior Actuary of the reinsurance division where he was responsible for pricing multiple lines of business including property, aviation, casualty and specialty.

In July 2008 Mr. Pun joined Flagstone Re, a provider of property and specialty reinsurance, as the Chief Pricing Actuary for North American property and specialty risks. Mr. Pun became Flagstone's Group Chief Actuary in 2011 overseeing the global actuarial function.

Prior to joining New Ocean, Mr. Pun was the Chief Actuary at AQR Re with overall responsibility for actuarial and analytics, and deeply involved with portfolio strategy. AQR Re was the reinsurance arm of AQR Capital Management, an investment manager with over $100 billion of assets under management.

Mr. Pun holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.

Mr. Brookman joined New Ocean in April 2016 under secondment from XL Catlin, where he serves as Senior Vice President within Alternative Capital in Bermuda. With 16 years' experience in the capital markets and reinsurance markets working for investment banks, reinsurers and intermediaries in London, New York and Bermuda, Mr. Brookman specializes in developing customized investment opportunities for pension funds, life insurers and sovereign funds seeking access to alternative risk premia from the reinsurance asset class.

Mr. Brookman started his career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch focusing on M&A and Corporate Finance transaction for FTSE-100 clients.

Between 2002 and 2006 Mr. Brookman served as Head of Alternative Distribution at Benfield Advisory in both London and New York, bringing private equity funds, hedge funds, proprietary trading desk and endowment funds into a variety of investment structures within the reinsurance asset class.

In 2006 Mr. Brookman joined Barclays Capital serving as Global Head of Insurance within the Global Markets Division in New York and London. He was responsible for the build-out of the non-life insurance-linked business in Europe and subsequently North America. Mr. Brookman served as representative for the firm on the Operating Committee of the World Economic Forum's white paper on Insurance-Linked Securities, published in October 2008.

Prior to joining XL Catlin and New Ocean, Mr. Brookman served as Head of Capital Markets for Montpelier Re Holdings Ltd (2014-2016), a Bermuda-based global reinsurer, advising the board of directors on strategy within the reinsurance asset class and serving as a board member and member of the investment committee for Blue Capital Management, a wholly-owned insurance-linked fund manager with primary responsibility for managed accounts for large institutional investors.

Mr. Brookman holds a BA (Hons) in History & Politics from Durham University in England.

Mr. Resnik has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, with 15 years in international compliance. He joined New Ocean in October 2016 as Chief Compliance Officer.

Mr. Resnik started his career in 1988 with State Street Bank & Trust, in Quincy Massachusetts, in the Fund Accounting and Master Trust departments. In 1995 he joined the Bank of Bermuda focusing on business development and client relationship management. In 1998, he spent 2 years as a Vice President, in charge of fund operations, at Hemisphere Management Ltd, Bermuda.

In 2000, Mr. Resnik joined Everest Capital Limited, Bermuda as Chief Compliance Officer. Everest Capital was an emerging markets hedge fund, with over $3 billion assets under management. Everest was a registered investment advisor with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In 2010 Mr. Resnik joined Fidelity International Limited, Bermuda, as Head of Bermuda Investment Compliance.

Mr. Resnik earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Providence College, Providence Rhode Island. He is a Fellow of the International Compliance Association and a Member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals.
